This was posted by cars.com on YouTube and shows how much different the production Cadillac ELR will be from the Converge concept.

That electronic door handle thing is pretty scary. I hope they move it inboard of the door pull. I'm one of those drivers that uses one foot to drive if I don't have a clutch pedal to play with. And with 85-90% of cars being automatic these days (and 2 of 3 in my driveway, sadly), a lot of people are probably putting their knee right there on that button. Even if it can't open when the car is driving, I'm sure it's going to set off a bunch of bells and whistles and lights and displays to tell you to stop touching your door handle.

That really is an unnecessary mistake by the CAdillac ELR designers, I really don't see the point of the button on that particular place. They could've really placed it anywhere else on the dashboard and no one would notice.

I can already see the headlines:

"CADILLAC ELR COUPE DESIGN SNAFU CAUSES LINDSEY LOHAN CRASH"

Because you know she would probably get one and then suddenly she'd be the first one to manage to fall out of it while moving, even if it's programmed not to.

Eco-credentials aside (albeit, I realise that is mainly the point) if Cadillac ELR looks like the Converj, it'll look fantastic IMO! Hope it isn't scaled down too much?

Ummm... do you realize the ELR was released a year ago and has sold over 1,200 units? You can see for yourself if the ELR looks like the Converj, and even buy one today!
